Role Description The ideal candidate will manage accounting operations for our residential and commercial building projects, including financial reporting, reconciliations, and statutory compliance. This role requires strong accuracy, responsibility, and the ability to work closely with both site and office teams. Responsibilities: Maintain day-to-day accounting, ledgers, and financial records. Manage accounts payable/receivable, vendor billing, and payment follow-ups. Prepare monthly financial statements, cash flow reports, and project expense summaries. Track construction-related expenses — materials, contractors, and labour costs. Coordinate with site teams and suppliers to ensure accurate billing. Handle GST, TDS, monthly returns, and statutory compliance. Assist in budgeting, cost monitoring, and project financial planning. Perform bank reconciliations, manage payment vouchers, and oversee petty cash. Support external auditors with required documentation. Ensure accurate and timely salary and contractor payment processing. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Accounting (B.Com/M.Com) or a related field. Must have cleared at least 1–2 levels of the CA exam (CA Foundation or CA Intermediate). Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and project-related financial data. Proficiency in Tally ERP. Strong understanding of GST, TDS, and tax compliance. Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables preferred). Ability to independently manage books and reconciliations. Experience in construction, real estate, or contracting firms is preferred (but not mandatory).
