We have been mandated by a large conglomerate into Steel for the below mentioned role. Position Name : AM/DM/Mgr Vigilance Location: Maharashtra Job Overview: The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring compliance with organizational policies, identifying and investigating fraud, misconduct, and unethical practices, and implementing preventive measures to maintain integrity within the plant operations. The role involves close coordination with internal departments, law enforcement agencies, and regulatory bodies to uphold transparency and ethical business conduct. Key Responsibilities: 1. Vigilance & Compliance Monitoring Implement and oversee vigilance policies to ensure adherence to ethical and legal standards. Conduct surprise and routine inspections across departments to detect any irregularities. Monitor procurement, contracts, and financial transactions to prevent corruption and fraud. 2. Investigations & Risk Assessment Investigate complaints related to fraud, corruption, and misconduct, ensuring impartiality and confidentiality. Assess risks in key operational areas and recommend preventive measures. Prepare detailed investigation reports with findings and corrective action plans. 3. Awareness Organize vigilance awareness programs, training sessions, and workshops for employees. Promote ethical behavior through communication campaigns and policy reinforcement. Develop and implement whistleblower mechanisms for employees to report concerns safely. 4. Coordination & Legal Compliance Liaise with law enforcement agencies, regulatory bodies, and auditors regarding vigilance matters. Ensure compliance with relevant laws, including anti-corruption and anti-bribery regulations. Maintain updated records of vigilance cases, legal matters, and compliance reports.
