Job Description

Hello Dear We are hiring for AM/DM Blasting and Painting for the leading Shipbuilding at Gujarat location. Designation: AM/DM Blasting and Painting Experience: 7+ Years Education: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering,Materials Science, Corrosion Engineering, or a related field. Additional certifications in Painting and Coating, Surface Treatment, or Quality Control such as NACE Level II/III, SAPC Protective coating Inspector or FROSIO Level III Certification. Detailed knowledge of ISO 8501, ISO 12944, IMO PSPC, and other relevant National/International Location: Amreli, Gujarat Role & responsibilities Manage the blasting and painting activities across hull fabrication stages, ensuring alignment with project schedules and quality requirements. Collaborate with engineering teams to interpret specifications for surface treatment, ensuring blasting and painting meet design and quality standards Implement rigorous quality control standards throughout the blasting and painting process, conducting inspections to verify compliance with specifications Manage resource allocation for blasting and painting, optimizing labor, materials, and equipment to meet production targets within budget constraints. Enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations across all blasting and painting activities, ensuring safe working conditions for team members. Identify areas for process improvements within blasting and painting operations, implementing best practices to enhance productivity and quality. Preferred candidate profile Experience in blasting and painting within shipbuilding, heavy engineering, or a similar industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
