Hiring Assistant Manager MP&L role for reputed automotive industry at Chennai Please find below key activities of MP&L Export... Years of experience: 10 - 15 Yrs Qualification : BE Graduation Location : Chennai Supporting to finalize freight contract with liners, forwarders, warehouse service providers for both inbound & outbound traffic, and CHA contract. Liasoning with Customs dept. and to follow-up with CHA to clear all mode of import shipments on time to meet production targets. Handling of all customs related queries, write up submission to Customs. Monitoring Budget Vs Actual expense on freight and action plans for Improvements. To lodge the claims / arrange insurance survey for damaged receipts / dispatches with relevant to documentations to get refund from insurance agencies. Handling adhoc air export and import shipments for all lanes. Processing of supplier/ warehouse foreign remittances, Freight, CHA, and service provider bills for payment. Shipping/Export Comply with all customs clearance procedures pertaining to exports and expertise in ITC HS classification, 100% EOU Export Customs Clearance. Liasoning with customs clearance to follow-up with forwarders to clear all mode of export shipments (LCL/FCL/Air/Courier) to meet the customer targets. Handling of export shipments (end to end supply chain) till delivery to overseas warehouse. Releasing container bookings based on vessel schedule / Transit days / freight rates / service level for Europe, USA, China and Mexico region. Monitoring vessel schedule for container booking & transport arrangement. Internal coordination with Taxation & Customer support team for finalization of ship plan, export Invoice, E-way bill and E-seal update and other process Co-ordinate with forwarder for filing of shipping bill, Let Export order process completion to board on the intended vessel Follow up F/V & M/V connection for Europe, USA, China & Mexico region.
