Alternative text writer

As an Alt Text Writer, you will be responsible for creating clear, concise, and accurate alternative text descriptions for images, charts, graphs, and other visual content. Your work will help ensure accessibility for all users, including those using screen readers.
Key Responsibilities:Write meaningful alternative text (alt text) for images, diagrams, charts, and infographics.Ensure descriptions are accurate, contextually relevant, and accessibility-compliant.Collaborate with editorial and quality teams to maintain content standards.Work on projects with deadlines while maintaining high quality and consistency.Requirements:Strong command of written English.Ability to describe visual content in a simple, clear, and accurate manner.Attention to detail and consistency in writing style.Familiarity with accessibility guidelines (WCAG) is an added advantage.Work EnvironmentRemote-first role – must have a reliable laptop and stable internet connection.Flexibility will be required to collaborate across different time zones.
