We are seeking an innovative and highly skilled Solution Architect with expertise in both Generative AI and Agentic AI technologies to lead the design and implementation of transformative AI-powered business processes.

This intelligent business knows what is happening and why it is happening and prescribes the best decisions to make. Now, Cognizant uses Generative AI and Evolutionary AI to model every aspect of a business to solve for multi-objective outcomes in even the most complex conditions in a tool called NeuroAI.

Your role:

As a Solution Architect specializing in Generative AI and Agentic AI technologies, you will be responsible for designing and implementing intelligent, autonomous systems that revolutionize

business process flow across various industries. You will harness the power of AI technologies like Machine Learning Models, LLMs and Multi-Agent Systems to help clients automate, optimize, and streamline business operations. Your role will involve architecting and leading the development of advanced AI solutions that drive significant process improvements, efficiency gains, and business innovation for our clients.

You will also be a strategic advisor to clients, guiding them through the integration of these technologies into their operations to unlock new possibilities in areas such as customer experience, supply chain optimization, finance, HR, and beyond.

You’re a highly motivated and experienced Machine Learning Solution Architect responsible for designing, implementing and demonstrating NeuroAI solutions for our clients, providing user training, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve the NeuroAI offering. You’re articulate, love client-facing interaction, and you’re comfortable traveling and responding to RFPs as well as writing statements of work (SOWs).

Key responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions for clients, creating intelligent systems that autonomously manage business processes across verticals such as manufacturing, healthcare, finance, retail, logistics, and more.
• Leverage machine learning models, LLMs and agent-based AI technologies
• Leverage generative models (e.g., GPT, BERT, DALL·E) and agent-based AI technologies to automate and optimize complex workflows, enabling clients to realize tangible benefits like improved productivity, reduced costs, and better decision-making.
• Collaborate with sales and business development teams to support pre-sales activities, including presentations and demonstrations.
• Work closely with business stakeholders and SME to identify opportunities for applying Agentic AI to improve business process flow—transforming traditional workflows into dynamic, self-managing processes that require minimal human intervention.
• Work with cross-functional teams (engineering, data science, business analysis, product management) to ensure seamless deployment of AI solutions at scale, maintaining scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Architect solutions that combine generative AI and agentic agents to deliver end-to-end automation, such as intelligent document processing, predictive maintenance, personalized marketing, autonomous decision-making, and more.
• Ensure that AI solutions are aligned with industry best practices, business objectives, and the client's long-term strategy for digital transformation.
• Support clients through the full lifecycle of AI adoption, from concept to deployment and continuous optimization.
• Drive workshops and training sessions to build internal capabilities, ensuring clients are well-equipped to operate and maintain AI systems independently.
• Stay at the cutting edge of emerging AI technologies, including developments in agent-based systems, multi-agent systems, autonomous decision-making, and generative models.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior architects and developers, promoting a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and excellence within the team.
• Provide user training on NeuroAI both in-person and remotely.
• Respond to RFPs and write statements of work (SOWs) for machine learning projects
• Stay up to date with hyperscale’s and the latest trends and technologies in machine learning and data science.

Your profile:

• Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in AI architecture and machine learning technologies, with a focus on 2+ years of experience in generative AI and agentic AI.
• Strong expertise in AI models and frameworks, including large language models, reinforcement learning, multi-agent systems, and decision-making algorithms.
• Proven experience designing and deploying agentic AI solutions, including autonomous agents that manage and optimize business processes.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and deploying AI solutions at scale.
• Strong programming skills in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, and other relevant AI development tools and frameworks.
• Experience in developing and consuming APIs that interact with LLMs.
• Deep understanding of business process automation, workflow optimization, and AI’s role in transforming operations across industries.
• Deep passion for research and development, with curiosity and a commitment to pushing the boundaries of AI to create real-world impact.
• Excellent listening and communication skills, with the ability to engage, educate, and inspire clients and stakeholders on AI solutions and opportunities.
• Demonstrate ability to bridge technical depth with client-centric thinking, simplifying complex concepts to foster understanding and adoption.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in deploying agentic AI technologies like robotic process automation (RPA), intelligent decision support systems, autonomous agents, and smart process automation (SPA).
• Familiarity with ethical considerations and bias mitigation in AI systems, especially in autonomous decision-making.
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks and AI governance best practices.
• Familiarity with AI-driven process mining, process discovery, and business process modeling tools.
