We’re looking for a curious and analytically strong AI Research Engineer (Trainee) who is excited to explore the latest AI tools and technologies, conduct real-world research, and support development teams by keeping them up to date with the ever-evolving AI ecosystem. Responsibility Work closely with Project Managers to understand product requirements and contribute to planning and development strategies Research and evaluate AI tools, APIs, and frameworks (e.g., OpenAI, Hugging Face, LangChain, Claude, Gemini, Vertex AI) and recommend the most suitable options for team use. Share findings with the development team and train or guide them on how to implement these tools effectively Collaborate with senior researchers and engineers to design, prototype, and test new AI-driven features Evaluate and fine-tune AI models for performance, reliability, and practical use in code generation and analysis Integrate and test AI components within existing product infrastructure in collaboration with product and engineering teams Track and analyse AI trends, adapt state-of-the-art public research into working prototypes, and contribute to internal R&D knowledge base Continuously propose innovative applications of AI to enhance development workflows and reduce manual effort Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (or final-year student) in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related technical field Strong analytical thinking and a passion for solving complex problems Excellent research skills with the ability to analyze, summarize, and present findings clearly Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate, mentor peers, and communicate ideas effectively A fast learner who keeps up with the latest advancements in AI and technology What You’ll Gain Exposure to real-world AI product development Opportunity to lead and influence tech decisions through tool evaluation A learning culture focused on growth, innovation, and real impact How to Apply Send your resume to hr@xtecglobal.com with the subject line: “Application – AI Research Engineer – [Your Name]” Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month Schedule: Day shift Weekend availability Work Location: In person
