**Job Description:** You will be responsible for designing and developing machine learning software solutions for semiconductor device and thin film metrology. This includes working with internal and external customers to define requirements, optimizing algorithms, building machine learning-based solutions, and implementing solutions in Python using the TensorFlow framework. Your key responsibilities will include: - Designing and developing machine learning software solutions - Defining requirements with internal and external customers - Building machine learning-based solutions - Optimizing algorithms and prototypical solutions - Implementing solutions in Python with TensorFlow - Writing comprehensive unit tests and providing technical support during testing - Documenting the design and implementation of software solutions - Giving presentations internally and externally - Maintaining new and existing software solutions **Preferred Qualifications:** - Strong background in machine learning using regression models and TensorFlow framework - Knowledge of software architecture, modern development practices, and design patterns - Proficiency in Python or C# - Experience in parallel/distributed computing, performance profiling, and memory optimization - Familiarity with API development and Azure DevOps - Understanding of computational physics, numerical simulations, and semiconductors - Willingness to travel worldwide for projects at customer sites **Minimum Qualification:** - 2 years of experience leading or managing a team of machine learning algorithm engineers - BS in Computer Science with at least 10 years of experience, or - MS in Computer Science with at least 8 years of experience, or - PhD in Computer Science with at least 5 years of experience **Additional Details:** The company is looking for candidates with a background in electrical, mechanical, material science, metallurgy, automobile engineering, AI, or data science. The interview process consists of 3 technical rounds, a fitment round, and an HR round. Relocation expenses are available, and there is an option for 3 days of working from the office. Candidates from tier-1 colleges like IIT, IIIT, VIT, NIT are preferred. Candidates with experience in C++ or Python, machine learning, and artificial intelligence are encouraged to apply. Product company experience is a must, with preference given to candidates from engineering product companies. Health care and banking product experience do not qualify. Candidates with good communication skills, technical leadership, and a physics background are desirable.
