Experience: 8-10 years (Minimum 2 years in Generative AI) Location: Pune / Mumbai Job Type: Hybrid Position Overview: We are looking for a highly skilled AI Lead to drive Generative AI (GenAI) innovations while overseeing a team of AI Engineers with 4-6 years of experience each. This role requires hands-on expertise in building AI production systems , optimizing performance, and ensuring seamless consumption, serving, guardrails, and monitoring of AI models.. Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership Technical Mentorship Lead, mentor, and architect solutions for a team of AI engineers. Provide technical guidance on AI, ML, Data Engineering, and Generative AI best practices. AI Strategy Execution Design and deploy AI/ML solutions , ensuring performance optimization and reduced hallucinations in LLM-based applications . Oversee AI projects, from RD to production , ensuring timely delivery. Guide the team in selecting AI frameworks, tools, and methodologies . Cross-Team Collaboration Work closely with Product Management, Backend, Frontend, and QA teams to integrate AI solutions into business applications. Ensure seamless MLOps adoption for deployment, monitoring, and model lifecycle management. Innovation AI Advancements Stay updated on Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and emerging AI/ML trends . Implement state-of-the-art NLP, text processing, and multi-level prompt engineering strategies. Quality Documentation Maintain comprehensive AI model documentation, best practices, and performance tracking . Implement AI evaluation mechanisms to measure model performance and bias mitigation . Required Skills and Qualifications: Education: Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related field. Experience: 8-10 years of AI/ML experience, with at least 3 years in a technical lead role . Minimum 2 years in Generative AI domain with expertise in LLMs, Prompt Engineering, and AI model deployment . Technical Skills: Strong Python expertise for AI/ML development. Proficiency in ML frameworks : TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, and Scikit-learn. Experience with Generative AI models and applications. MLOps AI Deployment: Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) . AI Model Performance Optimization: Model tuning, prompt chaining, multi-level prompting. Data Engineering Knowledge: Handling structured/unstructured data for ML applications. Proven experience in leading AI teams in production environments. Soft Skills: Strong team management, problem-solving, and analytical thinking . Excellent communication and collaboration skills across teams. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Generative AI evaluation metrics and AI model performance tracking . Expertise in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) . Deep knowledge of Prompt Engineering techniques (tokenization, injection attacks, templatization, chaining).
