AI Engineering - Tech Lead

Job Description

Lead technical design and implementation of Generative AI solutions, ensuring alignment with client requirements and architectural best practices Collaborate with the AI CoE Lead to translate client business challenges into viable technical solutions Provide hands-on technical guidance to development teams, including code reviews, architectural decisions, and problem-solving Establish technical standards, patterns, and best practices for GenAI implementations across projects Develop proof-of-concepts and technical prototypes to validate solution approaches Oversee the technical aspects of project delivery, ensuring quality, performance, and security standards are met Work with client technical teams to integrate GenAI solutions into their existing environments Contribute to technical presales activities by participating in solution demonstrations and technical discussions Identify and mitigate technical risks throughout the project lifecycle Continuously research emerging GenAI technologies and evaluate their potential for client solutions Required Qualifications 7+ years of software development experience with at least 3-4 years focused on AI/ML technologies Proven experience as a Technical Lead or Senior Developer on AI implementation projects Strong technical expertise in GenAI technologies (LLMs, transformer architectures, RAG implementations, vector databases) Hands-on experience with major AI/ML frameworks and platforms (e.g., OpenAI APIs, Hugging Face, Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock) Proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used for AI development (Python) Experience with AI solution architecture, including integration patterns and deployment strategies Understanding of MLOps practices for GenAI applications (versioning, deployment, monitoring) Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex technical issues Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts across diverse stakeholder groups Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field Preferred Skills Experience with enterprise-scale GenAI implementations across multiple industries Experience with fine-tuning LLMs and building custom GenAI solutions Knowledge of prompt engineering techniques and optimization strategies Familiarity with enterprise integration patterns and API development Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) Understanding of data privacy and security considerations for AI implementations Knowledge of vector databases and efficient retrieval mechanisms for RAG applications Experience with CI/CD pipelines for AI solutions Success Factors Balance technical excellence with practical implementation to deliver business value Ability to lead by example and mentor junior team members effectively Strong collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams Adaptability to rapidly evolving GenAI technologies and methodologies Commitment to continuous learning and knowledge sharing across the organization
