## About Datadrew
Datadrew is building an AI Growth Co-Pilot, plugged with 850+ e-commerce brands, turning complex scattered data into actionable insights. We process over $1.4bn in GMV and 14.5M+ orders, enabling brands to improve retention, reduce CAC, and identify growth opportunities—all without needing a data team.We're building a conversational analytics layer that enables users to ask natural language questions and receive deep insights instantly—by dynamically translating NL queries into SQL and routing them through an intelligent agentic system.## 🎯 The RoleWe're looking for an experienced **AI Engineer** to architect and build production-grade analytics agents that power our AI Growth Co-Pilot. You'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and scaling agentic systems that autonomously analyze data, generate insights, and orchestrate complex analytical workflows.This is a high-impact role where you'll work directly with the founding team to build the core intelligence layer of our product.## 🔧 What You'll Build
- **Design and deploy analytics agents** that autonomously handle complex data analysis workflows
- **Build production-grade NL-to-SQL systems** with multi-turn context and error recovery
- **Architect agentic frameworks** for orchestrating LLMs, tools, and data sources
- **Develop data agents** that can reason across multiple data sources, generate insights, and suggest actions
- **Optimize LLM performance** through prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and RAG architectures
- **Create robust evaluation frameworks** for agent reliability and output quality
- **Scale systems** to handle high-volume queries across 850+ brands and billions in GMV
## ✅ Requirements
**Must Have:**
- **3+ years** of hands-on experience in AI/ML engineering or data engineering
- Strong proficiency in **Python** and production-grade code practices
- Deep understanding of **LLMs** (GPT-4, Claude, LLaMA, Mistral) and their practical applications
- Experience building with **agentic frameworks** (LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, CrewAI, or similar)
- Solid understanding of **SQL**, database systems, and data modeling
- Experience with **prompt engineering** and LLM optimization techniques
- Proven ability to ship production systems and own end-to-end delivery
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate ambiguity
**Nice to Have:**
- Experience building **NL-to-SQL or text-to-query systems**
- Background in **RAG architectures** and vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma)
- Experience with **fine-tuning LLMs** or working with open-source models
- Familiarity with **agent orchestration patterns** (ReAct, Plan-and-Execute, Chain-of-Thought)
- Knowledge of **e-commerce analytics**, BI tools, or data pipelines
- Contributions to open-source AI/ML projects
- Experience with **distributed systems** and handling scale
