AI Engineer Intern

About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic AI Engineer Intern to join our product and engineering team. In this role, you will help build, train, and deploy AI models that power our next-generation healthcare and telemedicine platforms. You will work closely with senior AI/ML engineers, software developers, and product leaders to build intelligent systems that improve patient care, automate workflows, and enhance user experience.

This internship is ideal for someone passionate about AI, large language models, machine learning, and applied deep learning technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the development, training, and fine-tuning of machine learning and AI models (LLMs, NLP, CV, predictive analytics).

Support the integration of AI components into web, mobile, and backend systems.

Work with datasets: cleaning, preprocessing, annotation, and feature engineering.

Run experiments, evaluate model performance, and document findings.

Build small prototypes and POCs to test new AI ideas or model improvements.

Collaborate with developers to implement AI-driven product features.

Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and sprint planning.

Ensure models follow best practices around ethics, security, reliability, and robustness.

Skills & Qualifications

Required

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.

Strong foundation in Python and ML libraries (TensorFlow / PyTorch / Scikit-learn).

Understanding of machine learning concepts such as regression, classification, neural networks, and evaluation metrics.

Basic knowledge of NLP or Computer Vision.

Familiarity with data structures, algorithms, and APIs.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.

Preferred

Experience with LLM fine-tuning or prompt engineering.

Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure).

Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases.

Experience with MLOps tools (Docker, Git, CI/CD, model deployment).

Understanding of healthcare or telemedicine domains (bonus).

What You Will Learn

Real-world AI development workflows (training, deploying, scaling).

Working with production applications in healthcare and telemedicine.

Creating and optimizing LLM-powered AI Assistants and diagnostic tools.

Building AI pipelines and integrating ML models into backend services.

Hands-on experience with industry standards for security and compliance (HIPAA, data privacy).

Participation in product development from concept to release.

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹5,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
