Job Title: AHU, Chiller, Cooling Tower, and Air Compressor Operator Company: Jai Balaji Procon Pvt Ltd Location: Dankuni, West Bengal Job Type: Full-Time Experience: Minimum 3 years in a similar role Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled AHU, Chiller, Cooling Tower, and Air Compressor Operator to manage, operate, and maintain essential HVAC and cooling systems at our manufacturing facility in Dankuni, West Bengal. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in operating industrial air handling units (AHU), chillers, cooling towers, and air compressors, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: 1. Operation & Monitoring Operate and monitor AHU, chiller, cooling tower, and air compressors for continuous plant operations. Ensure proper startup, shutdown, and performance optimization of all systems. Maintain system parameters like temperature, pressure, flow rate, and energy consumption within prescribed limits. Troubleshoot and rectify minor operational issues to prevent downtime. 2. Maintenance & Troubleshooting Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on all equipment. Inspect and clean filters, heat exchangers, condenser coils, pumps, and fans to maintain efficiency. Check refrigerant levels, compressor oil levels, and cooling water quality. Identify and report major faults to the maintenance team and coordinate necessary repairs. 3. Safety & Compliance Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety protocols, and industry best practices . Ensure compliance with industrial safety standards and environmental regulations . Maintain proper documentation of maintenance activities, system logs, and breakdown reports . 4. Energy Efficiency & Optimization Monitor and optimize energy consumption to reduce operational costs . Suggest improvements in the cooling system to enhance performance and reduce downtime. Identify opportunities for system upgrades and efficiency enhancements. Requirements: ITI/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineering . Minimum 3 years of experience in operating AHU, chiller, cooling tower, and air compressors in an industrial setting. Knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration, compressed air systems, and water treatment . Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults. Familiarity with PLC-based automated systems (preferred but not mandatory). Willingness to work in rotational shifts and handle emergency situations.
