Agri Manager

Job Summary:

The Agri Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of agricultural operations, including crop production, farm maintenance, workforce management, and resource planning. The role ensures productivity, quality, sustainability, and profitability while adhering to safety and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:1. Farm & Crop Management

• Plan, organize, and supervise crop production cycles, including planting, irrigation, fertilization, pest control, and harvesting.
• Monitor crop health, soil conditions, and implement best agricultural practices.
• Ensure optimal use of seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, and other inputs.

2. Staff & Workforce Management

• Supervise farm laborers, technicians, and field staff.
• Schedule tasks, assign responsibilities, and monitor performance.
• Train staff on modern agricultural techniques, safety, and equipment usage.

3. Budgeting & Resource Planning

• Prepare and manage annual budgets for farm operations.
• Optimize use of resources like water, fertilizers, machinery, and labor.
• Monitor costs and implement measures to improve farm profitability.

4. Equipment & Infrastructure

• Maintain and manage farm machinery, irrigation systems, storage facilities, and other infrastructure.
• Plan for maintenance, replacement, or procurement of agricultural equipment.

5. Compliance & Sustainability

• Ensure compliance with agricultural regulations, environmental guidelines, and labor laws.
• Implement sustainable farming practices, organic farming methods, or certifications if applicable.
• Monitor quality standards for crops and ensure they meet market requirements.

6. Reporting & Analysis

• Maintain detailed records of crop production, inputs, labor, and sales.
• Analyze farm performance, crop yields, and production efficiency.
• Prepare regular reports for management on productivity, cost analysis, and recommendations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Agronomy, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Proven experience in farm management or agribusiness operations.
• Knowledge of modern farming techniques, crop rotation, irrigation, and pest management.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in farm management software or MS Office.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
