Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Agri Advisor based in Pune. The Agri Advisor will provide expert guidance to farmers, including advice on agricultural best practices, crop selection, and the effective use of seeds, fertilizers, and machinery. The role involves conducting field visits, assessing farm challenges, and delivering tailored solutions. Additionally, the Agri Advisor will develop and maintain relationships with farmers, track their progress, and ensure they receive the necessary support to achieve improved crop yields and sustainability.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of agricultural practices, including crop selection, soil management, and sustainable farming techniques
• Experience with agri tools, machinery, seeds, and agro-chemical application
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for providing guidance and building rapport with farmers
• Ability to conduct field visits, analyze challenges, and develop practical solutions
• Proficiency in local languages is preferred to effectively communicate with a diverse farmer demographic
• Educational background in Agriculture, Agribusiness, or related fields; a degree in Agriculture Science is an advantage
• Self-motivated and passionate about improving agriculture and empowering farmers
