Position : AGM/DGM Exp : 4+ years Location : Bengaluru-JP Nagar 1. Sourcing s Procurement Management: • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for plastic resins/materials, raw materials, Masterbatches, paints, inks, and fabrication. Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage the supplier base to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of materials. • Ensure procurement activities align with production schedules and customer requirements. Collaborate with BD, NPD, Costing, production, and quality control teams to assess and select new raw materials for product development 2. Supplier Relationship Management: • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure long-term business partnerships. • Manage supplier performance through KPIs, addressing any performance issues promptly. Conduct regular supplier audits to assess quality, safety standards, and environmental impact. 3. Material Quality Control s Compliance: • Work closely with quality assurance teams to ensure all sourced materials meet the required standards and specifications. • Monitor market trends to identify potential risks in supply, material pricing, and availability. Ensure compliance with regulatory and environmental standards regarding material sourcing and usage. 4. Cost Optimization: • Continuously identify cost-saving opportunities through improved sourcing strategies, negotiating better rates, and identifying alternate suppliers. • Drive initiatives to improve procurement processes and reduce material costs without compromising on quality. 5. Process Improvement s Innovation: • Participate in cross-functional teams to improve production processes, reduce material wastage, and improve material utilization. Leverage technical knowledge to suggest innovative solutions for material handling, storage, and transportation. 6. Reporting s Documentation: • Prepare reports on material cost, procurement trends, and supplier performance. Document sourcing strategies, supplier contracts, and procurement activities for audit and compliance purposes. KEY COMPETENCIES s SKILLS: 1. Technical Skills: • Strong understanding of raw materials used in the paints, inks, and fabrication industries. • Knowledge of material specifications, quality assurance, and product performance • Experience with SAP, ERP, or other procurement management systems. • Familiarity with sustainability practices in sourcing raw materials. • Analytical skills to assess material properties, performance, and cost. 2. Managerial s Leadership Skills: • Strong negotiation skills for vendor contracts and cost management. • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders. • Decision-making skills under tight deadlines and pressure. 3.
