We are hiring for an agri-tech company Its AI driven mobile platform combines micro-climate and crop disease genetics to seamlessly handhold the farmer right from sowing seeds all the way through harvest It proactively helps farmers navigate climate-risk across crop-cycles by guiding them with plant-specific weather insights and timely fertigation advice to optimize yield per acre We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Business Manager to oversee our operations and drive business growth across Telangana with regional office in Hyderabad The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with proven expertise in Agri domain, achieving month on month revenue targets, and fostering a high-performance culture Responsibilities Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve regional business objectives in alignment with overall company goals o Identify market opportunities, trends, and potential risks to formulate effective business strategies Financial Management: Manage regional P&L to ensure profitability and sustainable growth Monitor financial performance, budget allocation, and cost management Sales and Business Development: Achieve revenue targets on a monthly basis Strategic market expansion in Southern part of India o Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders Operational Excellence: Oversee operational efficiency across all functions within the region People Management: Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing regional team Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies Mitigate risks and manage crisis effectively to minimize operational disruptions Reporting and Analytics: Prepare weekly reports and monthly presentations following regional performance metrics Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement Requirements Telugu Native; Residing in Hyderabad Proven experience of atleast 5 years with a track record of success in sales and business development ideally in agrochemical or allied rural businesses in Telangana & AP Demonstrated success in achieving revenue targets and driving business growth Strong understanding of financial management and P&L accountability Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team Strategic thinker with a proactive and problem-solving attitude Agri Business Management (ABM) Graduate, or a related field Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Willingness to travel atleast 70% within the region CTC: 10 12 LPA Language Known: Telugu & English & Hindi Reports to: Operations Head West & South
