Job Description AGM Talent Acquisition (Steel Manufacturing Industry) Position: Assistant General Manager Talent Acquisition Industry: Steel Manufacturing Location: Kolkata (Head Office) Experience: 10+ years Education: MBA in HR from a reputed institution Joining Preference: Immediate joiner or within 30 days Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced AGM Talent Acquisition to lead and manage the recruitment strategy for a large integrated steel plant. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in the steel manufacturing industry and exceptional communication skills. This role requires a strategic thinker who can develop and implement talent acquisition strategies, manage hiring processes, and collaborate with plant sites for workforce planning. Key Responsibilities: Talent Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute end-to-end talent acquisition strategies aligned with business goals. Recruitment & Hiring: Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing to onboarding, for both white-collar and blue-collar roles. Industry-Specific Hiring: Source and recruit top talent exclusively from the steel manufacturing industry, ensuring alignment with technical and operational requirements. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Work closely with plant HR teams, business heads, and hiring managers to meet talent needs efficiently. Employer Branding: Enhance the companys employer brand to attract top industry talent. Vendor & Partner Management: Engage with recruitment agencies, job portals, and industry networks to source the best candidates. Workforce Planning: Analyze current and future workforce requirements, ensuring seamless staffing solutions. Site Visits: Periodically visit plant locations to assess talent needs and collaborate on workforce development initiatives. HR Analytics & Reporting: Monitor recruitment metrics and provide data-driven insights for continuous improvement. Key Requirements: Industry Experience: Minimum 10 years in talent acquisition within the steel manufacturing sector (mandatory). - Education: MBA in HR from a reputed institution. - Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of plant operations, technical roles, and blue-collar hiring. - Communication & Leadership: Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. - Flexibility to Travel: Willingness to visit plant sites occasionally. - Proven Track Record: Experience in bulk hiring, leadership hiring, and manpower planning.
