Job Description

Role & responsibilities Experience required: Minimum 12 -15 years of experience in managing the Galvanised/Aluzinc line operation during the shift. Production Oversight: Monitor and control production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and production targets. Supervise and direct the work of process technicians and other team members. Ensure efficient utilization of equipment and resources. Plan and coordinate daily production activities to achieve maximum output. Safety and Compliance: Implement and enforce all safety protocols and procedures. Identify and address potential safety hazards. Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and industry standards. Equipment Management: Monitor the performance of equipment and machinery. Identify and address equipment malfunctions or breakdowns. Coordinate with maintenance personnel to ensure timely repairs and maintenance. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of production activities, equipment performance, and safety incidents. Prepare and submit reports on shift performance and any issues encountered. Managerial Competencies: Motivate and lead the shift team to achieve production goals. Provide clear instructions and guidance to team members. Effectively communicate with other departments and management. Technical Competencies: Strong knowledge of steel manufacturing processes (e.g., rolling mills, furnaces, etc.). Understanding of steel quality standards and specifications. Strong leadership and team management skills. Familiarity with industry standards and certifications related to mechanical maintenance
