AGM - Mechanical Maintenance

Job Description

Role & responsibilities Planning and Scheduling: Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs, create maintenance schedules, and plan repair and installation activities. Oversee the mechanical maintenance activities across all production lines and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime. Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for mechanical systems and machinery. Develop and implement strategies to improve the lifespan and reliability of machinery. 3. Troubleshooting and Repair : Lead a team of technicians to perform routine inspections, maintenance, repairs, and upgrades of mechanical systems and equipment. Compliance & Documentation: Ensure that all machinery and equipment are operating efficiently and safely, in compliance with industry standards and regulations. Ensure strict adherence to safety standards and regulations in all maintenance activities. Cross functional collaboration: Coordinate with production and other departments to ensure smooth operations and timely completion of maintenance tasks. Budget Management: Develop and manage the mechanical maintenance budget, monitor expenses and ensure cost-effective Solutions for equipment repair and replacement. Monitor and analyze equipment performance data to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities. Inventory Control: Manage the inventory of spare parts, tools and equipment, ensuring adequate supplies are available for timely repairs. Develop and implement strategies to improve the lifespan and reliability of machinery. Managerial Competencies: • Supervise and train maintenance technicians, evaluate performance and ensure adherence to safety protocols. • Ensure effective communication and collaboration within the team and with other departments. Technical Competencies: • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment used in manufacturing environments. • Experience with maintenance management software and tools. • Strong leadership and team management skills. • Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. • Familiarity with industry standards and certifications related to mechanical maintenance. • Proven ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence. • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
