Working days : Mon- Sat Role & responsibilities : Location: Hyderabad with willingness to travel extensively to plant locations Department: Land & Administration Reporting To: GM Land Role Overview: Leap India is seeking a highly experienced AGM Land to lead and manage the land acquisition, registration, negotiation, and documentation process. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating with government authorities, ensuring legal compliance, and facilitating the timely completion of land transactions. Key Responsibilities: 1. Land Acquisition & Registration: Identify and acquire land through direct purchase, lease, or other legal processes . Ensure smooth registration of land , completing all legal formalities. Conduct title verification, due diligence , and ensure compliance with local land laws. Oversee land valuation, surveys, and feasibility studies before acquisition. 2. Negotiation & Stakeholder Management: Negotiate land purchase terms and agreements with landowners, brokers, and third-party agencies. Build and maintain strong relationships with government officials legal teams, and local authorities . Handle disputes and legal challenges related to land acquisition and ownership. 3. Documentation & Compliance: Ensure all agreements, sale deeds, and registration documents are legally valid and properly executed. Maintain accurate land records, title deeds, and ownership documents . Ensure compliance with state and central land acquisition policies, regulatory requirements, and environmental laws . 4. Government Liaison & Coordination: Work closely with government departments, including registration, and land authorities , to expedite processes. Obtain necessary approvals, NOCs, and clearances from local and state authorities. Handle any legal issues, litigation, or disputes related to land administration. 5. Timely Execution & Reporting: Ensure timely completion of land acquisition, documentation, and registration activities. Prepare regular reports on land transactions, legal cases, and pending approvals. Develop and implement strategies for process improvement in land administration. Key Requirements: Qualifications & Experience: Education: Bachelor's/Masters degree in Business Administration, or a related field . Experience: Minimum 15+ years in land acquisition, legal documentation, and government liaison . Prior experience in handling large-scale land acquisitions, industrial land, logistics, or infrastructure projects is preferred. Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of land laws, property registration procedures, and legal documentation. Proven experience in land negotiations and dealing with government authorities. Excellent communication & relationship management skills. Ability to resolve disputes and handle legal matters related to land transactions.
