Job Title : Assistant General Manager (AGM) IT / IT Head Location : Nagpur Job Summary: The AGM – IT will oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of IT solutions to support the operations of the Jewellery business. This role will focus mainly on software solutions, with a minor focus on hardware integration, as well as leading and managing a team of data analysts. The AGM will collaborate with various business units to optimize technology use and ensure the efficient flow of data across the organization to support decision-making, operational efficiency, and business growth. Experience: 8-10 years of IT experience, including 3-5 years in a leadership role (Jewellery industry preferred) Strong knowledge of ERP, network infrastructure, cybersecurity, and digital transformation At least 2-3 years of experience managing a team of data analysts. Experience in the Jewellery industry or a similar retail/manufacturing environment is a plus. Proven track record in managing IT projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of software systems relevant to the Jewellery industry (e.g. Inventory management, CRM, ERP systems). Familiarity with database management, data warehousing, and business intelligence tools. Experience with hardware systems relevant to retail and manufacturing (e.g., POS systems, scanners, production equipment). Proficient in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms). Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks. Strong communication and leadership abilities. Ability to think strategically and implement IT solutions that align with business goals. Work Conditions: Full-time Key Responsibilities: Oversee software solutions for inventory, sales, and CRM systems in the Jewellery business. Manage IT infrastructure and integrate software with existing hardware. Lead a team of data analysts to provide business insights and improve decision-making. Manage IT projects and collaborate with departments to meet business needs. Ensure cybersecurity and data protection across systems. Coordinate with vendors for software and hardware support. Qualifications: Bachelor’s/Master’s in IT, Computer Science, or related field. 5-7 years of IT experience, including 2-3 years managing a data analyst team. Experience in the Jewellery industry is a plus. Proficiency in data analysis tools. Strong leadership and project management skills.
