Job Description

As an Assistant General Manager of HR & Admin based in Kolkata, your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Manage end-to-end hiring processes, including creating job descriptions, posting job openings, screening and interviewing candidates, and finalizing hires. Collaborate with department heads & Corporate office to understand hiring needs and ensure timely recruitment. - Oversee the onboarding process to ensure smooth integration of new employees. Conduct orientation programs and ensure new hires understand company policies and culture. Manage the exit process, including exit interviews and final settlements. - Handle daily plant-related issues, provide administrative support on a regular basis, and coordinate on a daily basis with the corporate office. - Utilize problem-solving skills in various scenarios and demonstrate compliance with labor laws. Handle petty cash and monitor attendance & leave management, including tracking daily employee attendance and calculating leaves. Qualifications and Experience: - Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. - Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in HR & Admin roles, preferably in the manufacturing or related industry. Key Skills Required: - Strong understanding of HR operations and labor laws - Effective communication and interpersonal skills - Proficiency in employee engagement strategies - Hands-on experience with attendance and leave management systems - Problem-solving and decision-making abilities In addition to the responsibilities and qualifications mentioned above, the company offers benefits such as cell phone reimbursement, health insurance, and Provident Fund.
