We have been mandated by a large conglomerate for the below mentioned position. Position Title: AGM/DGM HR & IR Location: JHARKHAND Experience: 15+ Qualification: MBA (Full time ) Purpose of the role: The AGM/DGM - HR & IR will be responsible for leading the Human Resources and Industrial Relations functions at the integrated steel plant. This role requires a strong understanding of statutory compliance, and industrial relations. Key Responsibilities: 1. Industrial Relations: Manage industrial relations at the plant, ensuring a harmonious work environment. Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution in a fair and consistent manner. Develop and implement strategies to prevent and resolve labor disputes. Maintain and update records of industrial disputes, agreements, and settlements. 2. Statutory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations, including PF, ESI, gratuity, and other statutory obligations. Manage the preparation and submission of statutory reports and returns. Stay updated on changes in labor laws and regulations, and implement necessary changes in the HR processes. 3. Liaison: Establish and maintain effective communication with government authorities, labor unions, and other external stakeholders. Represent the company in negotiations, meetings, and discussions with labor unions and government officials. Facilitate the smooth functioning of the plant by resolving issues related to labor, compliance, and administration. 4. Administration: Oversee administrative functions such as facility management, transportation, and security. Ensure the efficient management of office infrastructure, utilities, and other essential services. Develop and implement policies for employee welfare, safety, and health.. 5. HR Operations: Oversee day-to-day HR operations, including employee records management, payroll processing, and benefits administration. Ensure accurate and timely processing of employee data, attendance, and leave management. Drive performance management processes, including goal setting, appraisals, and feedback mechanisms. Implement HR policies and procedures that align with the organization's objectives and comply with legal requirements.
