We are seeking a motivated QA Engineer / Tester with 2–3 years of experience to ensure the quality and reliability of Aether Mindtech’s ecosystem — including our Evolv28 device, mobile applications, website, and cloud platform. This role requires a well-rounded tester who is curious, detail-oriented, and eager to work on both hardware and software testing within a fast-growing wellness technology company. Key Responsibilities Mobile App Testing (iOS & Android) ● Test app flows: onboarding, subscriptions, wellness check, insights, and program sessions. ● Validate Bluetooth connectivity, background operations, and offline/online sync. ● Ensure smooth user experience across devices, OS versions, and screen sizes. ● Perform regression testing on new releases and updates. Device Testing (Wearable Hardware) ● Validate Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) pairing, connectivity, and command execution. ● Test firmware updates (OTA), including rollback and interrupted update scenarios. ● Monitor device performance: Battery backup, charging cycles, and safety features. ● Conduct environmental and stress testing to ensure durability and reliability. Website Testing ● Perform functional and UI testing of website and customer-facing portals. ● Validate cross-browser and cross-device compatibility. ● Test integrations with backend services and forms. Cloud & Backend Testing ● Test APIs (Postman or similar) for functionality, error handling, and edge cases. ● Validate synchronization between device, app, and cloud. ● Perform basic performance/load testing for user scalability. ● Check authentication, security, and data privacy workflows. General QA Responsibilities ● Create and maintain test cases, plans, and bug reports. ● Collaborate with developers, designers, and product managers in Agile sprints. ● Track and manage defects using Jira (or similar). ● Support continuous improvement in QA processes and documentation. Required Skills & Experience ● 2–3 years of experience in software/hardware testing. ● Strong manual testing skills for mobile apps, web, and backend systems. ● Hands-on experience with mobile testing (iOS/Android) and BLE/Bluetooth validation. ● Experience with API testing tools like Postman. ● Familiarity with bug tracking/project management tools (Jira, Trello, etc.). ● Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology. ● Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail. Nice to Have ● Exposure to testing wearable or IoT devices. ● Experience with automation frameworks (Appium, Selenium, or Cypress). ● Understanding of performance/load testing tools. ● Awareness of data security and compliance requirements.
