Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and persuasive Academic Counselor to join our admissions team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls, guiding prospective students about academic programs, and converting leads into enrollments through effective sales techniques. Key Responsibilities: Conduct telecalling to prospective students and explain available courses and programs. Follow up on leads generated through marketing campaigns, referrals, and other sources. Understand student needs and provide accurate information to help them make informed decisions. Achieve monthly targets for student enrollments and conversions. Maintain detailed records of calls, follow-ups, and conversions in CRM systems. Coordinate with the admissions and academic teams to ensure smooth onboarding of students. Participate in promotional activities such as webinars, seminars, and education fairs. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Education or Sales background preferred). 1–3 years of experience in telecalling, sales, or academic counseling. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong persuasion and negotiation abilities. Ability to work under pressure and meet targets. Familiarity with CRM tools and basic computer skills.
