About the Role:

The Advertising Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth through the sale of advertising solutions across digital, print, and media platforms. This role involves managing client relationships, leading sales strategies, and mentoring a team of sales executives to achieve targets. The ideal candidate is a results-driven professional with strong negotiation skills, deep industry knowledge, and a proven track record in media and advertising sales.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue goals.
  • Identify, target, and acquire new clients while maintaining strong relationships with existing ones.
  • Sell integrated advertising solutions (digital, print, events, partnerships, branded content, etc.).
  • Understand client needs and propose customized solutions to maximize campaign effectiveness.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, and industry research.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure successful campaign execution.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in the advertising ecosystem.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and market insights for senior leadership.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage the end-to-end sales cycle.


Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Media, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 4–8 years of experience in advertising/media sales.
  • Strong network of client and agency relationships.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to analyze data and trends to inform decision-making.
  • Experience in managing and motivating sales teams.
  • Knowledge of digital advertising platforms, programmatic, and emerging ad-tech solutions is a plus.
