You are a dynamic organization managing multiple OTT platforms in India, providing a vast array of entertainment options to your users. You are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Media Lawyer to join your team. As a Media Lawyer, you will be a highly skilled and knowledgeable professional joining the legal team. Your role will involve providing expert legal counsel on matters related to intellectual property, defamation, content regulation, advertising law, talent agreements, and more within the media and entertainment industry. Your responsibilities will include drafting and negotiating various agreements such as Production Service, Licenses, and Acquisitions, as well as vetting and reviewing all forms of agreements and contracts. You will advise the business team on legal and commercial issues related to intellectual property rights and other contractual obligations, coordinate with clients, handle non-litigation work, and manage a demanding workload with strict deadlines. To qualify for this position, you must have a law degree and a valid license to practice law in the specified jurisdiction. You should have at least 3-7 years of post-qualification experience in media law, either in-house or at a law firm. Strong knowledge of intellectual property, contract, and media law is essential, along with experience working with content producers, publishers, studios, or digital platforms. Excellent negotiation, drafting, and analytical skills are required, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also desired for this role.,
