Admissions Representative

Department: Backend Office
Reports To: Operations Manager / General Manager's Office

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient intake: Greet patients, collect and verify demographic, medical, and insurance information.
• Registration: Register patients in the hospital's system and schedule admissions in coordination with medical staff.
• Financial screening: Verify patient insurance coverage, obtain necessary authorizations, and collect co-payments.
• Coordination: Liaise with other departments (like billing and Operations Manager) to ensure a smooth process and accurate patient care.
• Record management: Ensure all patient information is accurately entered and maintained in the system throughout their stay.
• Communication: Answer inquiries, explain hospital policies, and provide clear instructions to patients and their families.
• Compliance: Adhere to hospital policies, professional standards, and all relevant regulations and laws.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

• Education: Graduate in any discipline (minimum 12th pass with relevant experience may be considered).
• Experience:
• Patients, managing the admission and discharge process, and handling administrative tasks like collecting patient and insurance information, Panels and Ayushman Card and EWS also.

Shift Details:

• Timings: Day Shift (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
• Weekly Offs: As per hospital policy (rotational/fixed).
