Job Summary:

The Admission Counsellor is responsible for guiding prospective students and their parents through the school’s admission process. The role involves providing accurate information about the school’s programs, curriculum, facilities, and policies, as well as ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for all applicants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle inquiries from prospective parents and students through phone, email, and in-person meetings.
• Provide detailed information about admission criteria, curriculum (CBSE/IG/IGSEB/State Board as applicable), facilities, co-curricular activities, and fee structures.
• Conduct campus tours and presentations for prospective families.
• Manage the complete admission process from application to enrollment.
• Maintain proper records of inquiries, applications, and admissions in the school’s database.
• Coordinate entrance tests, interviews, and parent orientations.
• Support marketing and outreach activities to promote the school.
• Follow up with parents to ensure completion of admission formalities.
• Ensure compliance with school policies and regulatory requirements.
• Provide feedback to management on admission trends, parent expectations, and competitor schools.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Education/Management/Marketing preferred).
• Prior experience in counselling, sales, or customer relations (preferably in education sector).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English and local language.
• Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to work with targets and deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office and admission management software.
