Job Description

Role Overview: The Administrative Officer is responsible for managing the non-academic functions and infrastructure of the school. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of school buildings, laboratories, sanitation facilities, and other infrastructure. Manage the school's transportation system, ensuring safe and timely movement of students and staff. Implement and monitor safety protocols, including emergency evacuation plans, fire drills, and first-aid readiness. Maintain accurate records of inventory, including textbooks, stationery, and other supplies. Maintain property registers, conduct stock verification, and keep other administrative logs up to date. Ensure compliance with RBSE documentation requirements and facilitate inspections as per board guidelines. Stay updated with local regulations and ensure the school adheres to applicable laws and standards. Manage non-teaching staff, including cleaners, drivers, and security personnel. Qualifications and Requirements: Graduate in any discipline Prior experience in an administrative role within a school setting Good understanding of the local area; preference will be given to local candidates Strong ability to liaise effectively with officials and relevant authorities
