Purpose of the Position: - Evaluate and implement ADAS standards and regulations for all markets - Align for testing & performance acceptable range with regulatory authorities and internal simulation team - Conduct risk assessment and hazard analysis in automotive systems - Perform ADAS system safety analysis - Implement automotive cybersecurity for ADAS - Monitor safety metrics and performance - Coordinate with plant and Pilot Hall and CFT for built issues Key Responsibilities & Tasks: - Analyze and design ADAS technologies such as collision avoidance, lane-keeping assistance, adaptive cruise control, and emergency braking - Ensure safety methodologies like Functional Safety (ISO 26262) are embedded in the design and operation of ADAS features - Identify safety risks associated with ADAS components and perform Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment (HARA) - Integrate ADAS with autonomous vehicle systems to ensure safe operation during autonomous driving modes - Evaluate the safety of interaction between different levels of automation - Address cybersecurity risks within ADAS systems and protect against threats compromising vehicle safety - Ensure compliance with ISO 26262 (Functional Safety for Road Vehicles) and other safety standards - Continuously seek, identify, and coordinate new Indian technologies/development opportunities - Support regular development team meetings and facilitate discussions for best solutions Skills Required: - Knowledge of Vehicle Electrical and Electronics sub systems - Familiarity with ADAS system and levels of Automation - Understanding of regulatory requirements for various markets - Awareness of Active and Passive safety requirements for ADAS - Proficiency in Project Management - Good administrative skills: ability to plan and develop a structure Authority: - Define Safety Active and Passive requirements - Define and implement testing standards - Certify and report on vehicle level testing - Conduct Risk Analysis Equal Opportunity and Mutual Respect: At SAVWIPL, every employee is chosen, hired, and supported based on their qualifications and skills.
