We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented VTL Machine Operator to operate and maintain Vertical Turning Lathe machines for precision manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with machining processes, be able to read engineering drawings, and ensure production quality standards are consistently met. Key Responsibilities: Set up, operate, and monitor Vertical Turning Lathe (VTL) machines as per production requirements. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and job orders to determine machining operations and dimensions. Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and machine parameters for different materials and jobs. Perform precision measurements using micrometers, vernier calipers, height gauges, and other measuring tools. Inspect finished components for accuracy, dimensions, and surface finish to meet quality standards. Conduct routine maintenance checks and ensure the machine is in proper working condition. Troubleshoot minor machine issues and report major breakdowns to maintenance. Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area. Maintain accurate production logs and documentation. Skills: Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings. Knowledge of machining operations, tooling, and cutting parameters. Familiarity with quality control instruments and inspection processes. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
