About the Role

Accounts Manager

You will manage daily accounting, ensure all filings are accurate and on time, maintain strong CA coordination, and close monthly books with precision.

Key Responsibilities

1. Daily Accounting & Data Hygiene

• Record daily sales across Shopify, Amazon, Website, and Offline Channels.

• Maintain Purchase, Expense, and Payment records accurately.

• Reconcile bank accounts, Razorpay, Cashfree, Amazon & Shopify payouts.

• Track payables & receivables and maintain clean ledgers.

2. GST Returns & Filing

• Prepare monthly GST data.

• Ensure timely and accurate filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and any additional filings.

• Maintain compliance with all GST rules, reconciliations, and audits.

• Coordinate with CA for GST notices, clarifications, and documentation.

3. Monthly P&L Closing

• Close books every month with complete accuracy.

• Prepare Monthly P&L, Cash Flow Statement, and Balance Sheet inputs.

• Share insights on variances, COGS, expenses, and margin movements.

• Support the founders in budgeting and forecasting.

4. CA Coordination & Management

• Maintain seamless communication with external CA teams.

• Prepare all documents required for filings, audits, and financial reviews.

• Ensure clean compliance across GST, Income Tax, TDS, and ROC if needed.

• Drive accountability and timely delivery from CA partners.

5. Income Tax Filing

• Prepare data for annual Income Tax filing.

• Maintain proper documentation for IT returns, TDS, and compliance.

• Coordinate with CA to ensure returns are filed correctly and on time.

Ideal Candidate

• 5+ years experience in Accounting, Finance, or Compliance roles.

• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, P&L, and general accounting principles.

• Proficient in Tally, Excel/Google Sheets, and platform reconciliations.

• Detail-oriented, extremely organised, and proactive.

• Someone who loves numbers, systems, and clean books.

• Ownership-driven. Zero excuses. High integrity.

• You cannot work with high attention to detail.

• You don’t like taking responsibility for deadlines.

• GST / P&L / Tally is not your strong area.

• You are slow with communication or follow-ups.
