CSD design and manufacture a wide range of aluminum windows and doors in Chennai.

Job Purpose:

To lead the Accounts & Finance department of the facade company by managing end-to-end financial operations, government portal compliance, statutory filings, audits, and accurate financial reporting, ensuring the company remains fully compliant and financially stable.

Key Responsibilities:1. Accounts & Finance Operations

• Oversee day-to-day accounting activities including AP/AR, ledger maintenance, bank reconciliations, and cash-flow management.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of all entries in Advanced Tally.
• Prepare monthly P&L, balance sheet, cash-flow statements, and project-wise financials.

2. Government Portals & Statutory Compliance

• Manage all statutory filings through govt portals such as:
• GST Portal (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-7, annual returns)
• Income Tax Portal (TDS filing, advance tax, annual returns)
• MCA/RoC Portal (if applicable)
• EPF & ESI Portals
• PT (Professional Tax) filings
• Ensure accuracy of data uploaded in respective portals on or before due dates.
• Maintain timely submission of invoices, returns, challans, and statutory payments.

3. Taxation

• Oversee complete GST process including input tax credit reconciliation, vendor compliance, and HSN/SAC validation.
• Handle TDS payments, returns, and reconciliation.
• Coordinate with tax consultants when required.

4. Audits

• Lead internal and external audits, including statutory audit, tax audit, and compliance audit.
• Prepare audit schedules, support documentation, ledgers, and reconciliations.
• Respond to auditors’ queries and ensure timely closure of audit observations.

5. Budgeting & Cost Control

• Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and cash-flow projections.
• Monitor project-wise expenses, material cost, and operational overheads.
• Implement cost control measures and highlight variances.

6. MIS & Reporting

• Generate monthly MIS reports, project profitability statements, and budget vs. actual analysis.
• Provide financial insights for management decision-making.
• Maintain strict accuracy and transparency in all financial reporting.

7. Team Leadership

• Lead and guide accounts staff on day-to-day operations.
• Assign tasks, monitor accuracy, and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
• Train the team on Tally, compliance updates, and new statutory requirements.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong expertise in Advanced Tally – voucher management, cost centre, bank feeds, inventory, payroll modules.
• Excellent knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, EPF, ESI, PT, ROC compliance.
• Hands-on experience in using government portals for all statutory filings.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage audits efficiently.
• Good communication and leadership skills.

Qualification:

• B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance)
• CA / Inter CA preferred (not mandatory).

Competitive; based on experience and capability.
