Accounts Head

Job Responsibilities for Head-Accounts

1. Accounts & Financial Control

2. Manage day-to-day accounts operations, bookkeeping, and general ledger functions.

3. Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, MIS reports).

4. Monitor receivables, payables, and working capital management.

5. Implement strong internal controls and accounting best practices across functions.

6. Compliance & Taxation

7. Ensure statutory compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other Indian accounting standards.

8. Coordinate statutory, internal, and tax audits with auditors.

9. Manage transfer pricing, SEZ, and other applicable compliance requirements.

10. Oversee regulatory filings and ensure adherence to corporate governance standards.

11. Budgeting & Reporting

12. Assist in annual budgeting, variance analysis, and expense control.

13. Provide monthly and quarterly MIS reports to management for business performance review.

14. Support leadership in profitability analysis and cost optimization initiatives.

15. Process Improvements & ERP

16. Drive automation and digitalization of accounting processes through ERP and reporting tools.

17. Ensure accuracy, transparency, and efficiency in financial data management.

18. Team Leadership

19. Mentor the accounts team to strengthen capability and efficiency.

20. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Sales, Operations, HR, Supply Chain) to ensure smooth financial processes

Qualification:

Experience:

23. Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards, GST, TDS, and compliance requirements.

24. Proven track record in financial reporting, audits, and taxation.

25. Experience with ERP systems and financial automation preferred.

26. Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
