Job Description Head- Accounts- The Head of Accounting will be responsible for leading and managing the accounting department. They will ensure that financial records are accurate and in compliance with all legal and regulatory standards. The Head of Accounting will be responsible for developing and maintaining the financial policies and procedures that ensure the accuracy and integrity of the financial records. They will also be responsible for providing financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting reports to leadership and other stakeholders. The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well with a diverse team. Responsibilities of Head of Accounting 1. Oversee financial operations and ensure that accurate financial statements are produced in a timely manner. 2. Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. 3. Prepare and oversee budgets and financial projections. 4. Ensure that the companys financial records are organized and accurate. 5. Act as a financial advisor to senior management. 6. Oversee the preparation of accurate financial reports for senior management and external stakeholders. 7. Manage and develop the accounting team to ensure maximum efficiency. 8. Liaise with external auditors and other financial professionals. 9. Analyze financial data and develop strategies to increase profitability and reduce costs. 10. Monitor cash flow and liquidity and advise on strategies to maintain a strong financial position.
