Accounts & Finance Manager

Talasha has been mandated to hire a Finance & Accounts Manager for a leading D2C brand that provides plant-based dietary supplements and sports nutrition products. They have their own manufacturing facilities & sell directly to the consumer via D2C channels. This is a holistic role that will be responsible for overseeing accounts and managing MIS & finance as well as taxation Responsibilities -Financial Planning & Analysis- Prepare periodic budgets and forecasts, update them as necessary & implement financial strategies to achieve organisation's financial goalsMIS - Conduct regular analysis of manufacturing costs, procurement purchase costs, profitability per unit, variance from budgets, etc and advise the leadership of cost reduction measuresAccounting & Book keeping -Oversee the book keeping process in Zoho Books, reconcile supplier & customer accounts, manage payroll & statutory compliances Taxation & Compliance - Handle income tax, GST, TDS - including calculations, filing of returns, etc, coordinate with CA Firms Financial Reporting -Prepare monthly management reports and financial statements for internal and external stakeholders, create MISInventory Management - Ensure regular stock taking of inventory is done, variance is studied & the correct valuation technique is applied to recording the stock in books of accountsAudit & Finalisation of Books - Coordinate with auditors for statutory and tax audits, finalizing financial statementsTreasury Management - Oversee cash flows, fund allocation, credit lines and ensure maintenance of optimal working capitalCost Control -Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making by senior management, Assist in negotiating contracts with buyers and vendors, including pricing agreements, Cross functional collaboration -Work with departmental heads across the business in supporting their financial activities, guiding them through financial process, and interpreting the progress Good To Have -At least 5 years experience in handling Accounts, MIS as well as TaxationExperience working in manufacturing entities Experience working in accounting ERPS such as Zoho books CTC - Rs.10-12 LPA (Basis last drawn)Location- Mumbai (Andheri East)
