Accounts Executive

The Accounts Executive will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely processing of accounting transactions, support the accounts team with maintaining documents, records for audits, reporting, and compliance. This role requires strong attention to detail, knowledge of accounting principles, and proficiency in recording accounting transactions into the software. Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day accounting operations including updating of transactions. Prepare and maintain vouchers, invoices, payment entries, and receipts Coordinate with vendors, customers, and internal departments for all financial queries Perform bank reconciliations and ensure timely settlement of payments Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities Maintain General Ledger accounts and ensure proper documentation Assist in GST, TDS and other statutory compliance filings. Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, and assist the management Manage petty cash, expense claims, and vendor payment schedules Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary financial data Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce. 1–3 years of experience in accounting or finance role. Strong understanding of accounting principles and statutory compliance. Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software/tools. Good analytical skills and numerical accuracy. Strong communication and vendor management skills. Ability to manage assigned responsibility independently. High level of integrity, responsibility, and attention to detail Experience in Travel/Tourism Sector preferred
