Job Title: Accounts Executive Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu Experience: 2 to 5 Years Employment Type: Full-Time Joining: Immediate Joiners Preferred Job Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day accounting tasks. The ideal candidate should have 2–5 years of relevant experience and a strong understanding of accounting principles, statutory compliance, and hands-on experience with Zoho Books , TDS , and GST . Key Responsibilities: Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure timely bookkeeping. Manage accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and journal entries. Work extensively on Zoho Books for invoicing, expense management, and reporting. Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.) and ensure compliance with GST regulations. Handle TDS calculations, deductions, payments , and filing of returns. Assist in month-end and year-end close processes. Coordinate with auditors for statutory and internal audits. Generate and analyze financial reports to aid in decision-making. Ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures, and statutory requirements. Requirements Key Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience in accounting. Proficiency in Zoho Books is mandatory. Good knowledge of TDS , GST , and other statutory compliances. Working knowledge of MS Excel and other accounting software/tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks. Preferred: Immediate joiners or those with a notice period of less than 15 days. Prior experience in a similar industry or setup.
