Accounts Executive - Finance & Accounts

Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day accounting operations within our IT organization. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation (GST, TDS), and financial reporting, along with hands-on experience using accounting software. You will work closely with management to ensure accurate financial records and timely compliance with statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including journal entries, invoices, receipts, and payments.

• Handle accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliation, and vendor management.

• Prepare and maintain books of accounts as per company and statutory requirements.

• Ensure timely GST, TDS, and PF/ESI filings and coordinate with auditors for monthly/annual closures.

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, MIS reports, and expense analysis.

• Manage employee reimbursements, payroll entries, and petty cash.

• Support the finance team in budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking.

• Coordinate with internal departments and external agencies (CA, auditors, vendors, etc.) for accounting and compliance matters.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance).

• 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in an IT or service-based company.

• Strong knowledge of Tally ERP / Zoho Books or similar accounting tools.

• Working knowledge of MS Excel, GST, TDS, and basic financial compliance.

• Excellent attention to detail, analytical, and communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
