We are looking for a Data Entry Operator - Accounts to support our finance team by accurately posting day-to-day accounting entries into the system. The ideal candidate should have basic knowledge of accounting, good typing speed, and attention to detail. This is an entry-level role suitable for someone looking to start a career in accounting and finance.

Key Responsibilities:

Enter day-to-day accounting transactions into the accounting software (purchase, sales, receipts, payments, journal entries, etc.).

Maintain proper documentation and records of all transactions.

Ensure accuracy and completeness of data entered in the system.

Assist in reconciling bank statements and ledgers.

Support the finance team during audits and month-end closing activities.

Flag any inconsistencies or errors in data to the senior accountant.

Maintain confidentiality of financial information at all times.

Key Requirements:

Education: B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification.

Experience: 0-2 years of experience in accounting or data entry roles.

Technical Skills:

Basic knowledge of accounting principles.

Proficiency in MS Excel (data entry, basic formulas).

Familiarity with accounting software like Tally, SAP, or any ERP (preferred but not mandatory).

Soft Skills:

Fast and accurate typing skills.

Good attention to detail and numerical accuracy.

Ability to follow instructions and work independently.

Preferred Attributes:

Prior internship or experience in an accounts department.

Understanding of GST, TDS, or basic statutory compliance (optional).

Eagerness to learn and grow in the accounting field
