Job Title: Accounts Executive

Location: Kadavanthara, Kochi
Employment Type: Full-time

Preference: Male Candidate

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in bookkeeping, GST compliance, and financial reporting. This role requires strong analytical skills, accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently. (Male candidates are preferred for this role.)

Key Responsibilities1. Data Entry and Bookkeeping

  • Accurately record all financial transactions in the accounting system.
  • Maintain proper documentation and records of financial activities.

2. Accounts Payable

  • Process and verify supplier invoices as per company policies.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and address discrepancies.
  • Prepare and process timely payments to suppliers.

3. Accounts Receivable

  • Generate and send customer invoices and account statements.
  • Follow up on outstanding payments and reconcile customer accounts.
  • Record incoming payments and update customer records accurately.

4. Bank Reconciliation

  • Conduct regular reconciliation of bank statements with the general ledger.
  • Investigate and resolve mismatches or discrepancies.

5. Expense Management

  • Process employee expense reports in accordance with company policies.
  • Maintain accurate expense records and ensure timely reimbursements.

6. GST Filing and Compliance

  • Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual GST returns promptly.
  • Ensure adherence to GST rules and coordinate with tax authorities when required.
  • Stay updated on changes in tax regulations and advise management accordingly.

7. Financial Reporting

  • Assist in preparing financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
  • Support internal and external audits and ensure regulatory compliance.

8. Budgeting and Forecasting

  • Contribute to annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
  • Track budget performance and provide timely updates to management.

9. General Administrative Support

  • Provide administrative assistance to the finance team and support overall business operations as needed.

Qualifications and SkillsRequired

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in accounting or finance, with specific exposure to GST filing and compliance.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, MS Excel, and GST filing platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize workload in a dynamic environment.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and regulations.

Preferred

  • Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks or Tally.
  • Additional certifications (CA Inter, CMA, etc.) are an advantage.
  • Familiarity with wider taxation and compliance requirements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹8,742.13 - ₹15,000.00 per month
