Accounts and Finance - Specialist

As an Accounts and Finance Specialist at our skincare business, your role is crucial in ensuring financial health, driving strategic insights, maintaining compliance, and supporting scalable growth. Your responsibilities will include: - **Financial Strategy & Planning** - Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with company goals. - Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes. - Provide financial insights and recommendations to the leadership team. - **Accounting & Reporting** - Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow). - Maintain internal control systems to safeguard assets and ensure accuracy of records. - **Cost & Margin Management** - Monitor product cost structures, pricing, and gross margins across channels. - Analyze and optimize costs in collaboration with procurement and production teams. - **Compliance & Taxation** - Ensure compliance with statutory laws and financial regulations. - Manage audits, tax filings, and liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies. - **Cash Flow & Working Capital Management** - Monitor daily cash flow and working capital requirements. - **ERP & Systems Management** - Implement and maintain finance modules in ERP systems. - Ensure accurate data flow across inventory, sales, and finance systems. - **Team Leadership** - Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance and accounting professionals. - Foster a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement. **Required Qualifications & Skills:** - Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA (Finance) from a reputed institute. - Experience: 5-10 years in accounting and finance, preferably in skincare, cosmetics, FMCG, or retail sector. - Strong understanding of accounting standards, taxation, and compliance. - Proven experience in budgeting, financial forecasting, and analysis. - Excellent knowledge of Tally/ERP systems, MS Excel, and financial tools. - Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills. **Preferred Experience:** - Experience in a high-growth D2C skincare or cosmetic brand. - Familiarity with inventory-heavy business models and product lifecycle costing. - Knowledge of import/export regulations and e-commerce financial management.
