Job Description

About The Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced

Accountant

to manage daily accounting operations, maintain financial records, and ensure compliance with Indian accounting standards and statutory regulations. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory filings.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain day-to-day accounting records in Tally/Zoho Books/QuickBooks (as applicable).
Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
Prepare and file GST returns, TDS returns, and support during income tax filings.
Perform bank reconciliations, ledger scrutiny, and journal entries.
Assist with monthly closing and preparation of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet).
Coordinate with auditors and ensure compliance with statutory audit requirements.
Monitor petty cash and prepare cash flow statements.
Maintain documentation for all financial transactions and statutory records.
Support management with MIS reports and analysis.

Qualifications & Skills

Education: B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / CMA Inter.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of accounting experience (preferably in an Indian firm).
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Tally ERP, Excel, and accounting software.
Good knowledge of GST, TDS, and Income Tax compliance.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Tally Prime or cloud-based accounting tools.
Understanding of RBI compliances and ROC filings (for companies).
Exposure to payroll accounting and PF/ESI calculations.
