Accounting Executive

As an Accounting and Banking Executive at Indriya, Aditya Birla Jewelry - Franchise Store, your main role will involve managing the financial and banking responsibilities of the store. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of all store financial transactions, handling daily accounting tasks such as cash management and account reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting and financial regulations. It is crucial that you have a strong understanding of retail finance, are organized and meticulous, and can work collaboratively yet independently. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain accurate records of all store financial transactions including sales, expenses, and inventory. - Handle daily accounting tasks such as cash management, bank deposits, and account reconciliations. - Monitor and maintain compliance with all relevant accounting and financial regulations. - Coordinate closely with store operations personnel while maintaining clear boundaries with no involvement in day-to-day store operations. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field. - Proven experience in retail or franchise-based accounting preferred. - Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, cash flow management, and bank reconciliation. - Familiarity with GST and other financial compliance regulations (as applicable). - Proficiency in Excel and accounting software. Only one Accounting & Banking Executive will be present at the store at a time. This role is purely financial and will not interfere with the store's operational team, which is managed separately.
