Role Description This is a full-time on-site role in Gandhinagar for an Accounting Assistant. The Accounting Assistant will be responsible for preparing financial statements, managing bookkeeping tasks, using accounting software, and supporting finance-related tasks. The role involves daily accounting activities, tracking financial transactions, and ensuring accurate and timely financial records. Location: Gandhinagar, India (On-site role) Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent Joining Date: Immediate Salary: ₹15,000 - ₹25,000 per month, based on skills and experience. Qualifications Experience with Financial Statements and Bookkeeping Proficiency in Accounting Software Strong background in Accounting and Finance Excellent organizational and analytical skills Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy Ability to work independently and collaboratively Experience in non-profit finance is a plus Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Experience with QuickBooks software is preferred but not mandatory. Strong English communication skills (written and verbal). Key Responsibilities: Record daily accounting entries and transactions accurately. Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date financial records. Prepare regular financial statements and reports. Manage accounts payable and receivable efficiently. Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures. Assist in monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial closings. Support in audit preparations and respond to financial inquiries. Coordinate with internal departments for smooth financial operations.
