We are looking for a competent and detail-oriented Accountant with at least 3 years of experience, including strong hands-on exposure to Accounts Payable (AP) processes. The ideal candidate will manage daily accounting tasks, support accurate financial reporting, and ensure smooth AP operations within the finance department.

Role & responsibilities:

Accounts Payable (Primary Focus)

Process and verify supplier invoices in accordance with company policies.
Perform 3-way matching (InvoicePOGRN) to ensure accuracy.
Prepare and execute vendor payments via bank transfers, cheques, and online platforms.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Maintain vendor master data and ensure proper documentation and filing.

General Accounting

Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
Post journal entries and maintain accurate general ledger records.
Support bank reconciliations and follow up on outstanding items.
Assist with accruals, prepayments, and expense recording.
Prepare and update financial reports as required.

Preferred candidate profile:

Education

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.

Experience

Minimum 3 years of accounting experience,
with a strong focus on Accounts Payable
.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Oracle, Tally, QuickBooks, or similar).
Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data analysis).
Solid understanding of accounting principles and AP processes.

Soft Skills

High attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
