Accountant

Accountant required in full time, on-site for small office (Non CA) in Dadar East, Mumbai.

Candidate requirements:

• Academic Qualifications: Minimum B. Com. or Equivalent. CA Intermediate or LLB Strongly Preferred.
• Minimum 1 year work experience, preferably in CA, lawyer or tax practitioner office.
• Proficiency in MS Windows, MS Office and Tally Accounting Software
• Proficiency and Fluency in English, spoken and written
• Functional knowledge of Hindi, Marathi preferred.
• Prior work experience in handling income tax assessment, appeals and litigation.
• Proficient drafting, correspondence and communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of Indian income tax law and procedures.
• Strong Preference for candidates who have have completed School and College Education in English Medium.
• Should be available for in-office work from Monday to Saturday, 10AM to 7PM.
• Should be willing to commute to office in Dadar East and other locations in Mumbai as may be required.

Job Description:

• Liasoning with chartered accountants regarding various compliances and correspondence pertaining to income tax assessment, appeals and litigation.
• Checking income tax e-filing account and emails for new notices or communication, seeking adjournments, submitting replies.
• Compiling and organizing accounting and other data and documents from historical records and from third parties, for compliance purposes.
• Visiting chartered accountant office and income tax offices / tribunals as required.
• Maintaining records and accounts for various entities within group office.
• Assisting chartered accountants for income tax, GST, corporate law and other statutory compliances.
• Liasoning and co-ordinating with banks, service providers and clients for data compilation, procedural work and other matters as required.
• Support in general office administration and IT maintenance.
• Any tasks or activities suitable for candidate competence as may be assigned.

Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹420,000.00 per year
