Overview

The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, performing day-to-day data entry and assisting the finance team with routine accounting activities and statutory compliances by ensuring timely and error-free data processing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records by updating ledgers, journals, and accounting databases.
  • Enter daily financial transactions, invoices, receipts, and payments into the accounting system with high accuracy.
  • Verify data for completeness, correctness, and consistency before processing entries.
  • Assist in preparing basic financial reports such as expense summaries, petty cash statements, and monthly reconciliations.
  • Support the accounts team in processing vendor invoices, employee claims, and payment documentation.
  • Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and customer balances under supervision.
  • Organize and maintain digital and physical financial documents for easy retrieval and audit readiness.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to collect required data, documents, and approvals.
  • Generate simple spreadsheets, data summaries, and reports when needed.
  • Follow company policies and accounting standards while handling financial information.
  • Perform additional finance and accounting duties as required.
  • Coordinate and manage flight and hotel bookings for employees, ensuring timely reservations, cost efficiency, and proper documentation.
  • Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory returns.
  • Performing TDS reconciliation with 26AS on a quarterly basis and collaborating with entities for discrepancies identified during the reconciliation.

Qualifications

  • Education

    : Bachelor’s degree in

    Commerce

    ,

    Accounting

    or

    Finance

  • Experience

    : 1–2 years of experience in

    accounting

    and handling statutory compliances.
  • Technical skills

    : Tally ERP
  • Other Skills

    : Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, data analysis, and reporting.
